Why I am Doing this?
Hearing impairment in children is an issue important to me. I have seen through my own experiences with my family and volunteering how those who are hearing impaired face enormous challenges. Children have speech, learning and social issues to overcome as they are growing. I have decided to use my passion for art to help organizations that support children with hearing impairment.
Who am I Doing This For?
Let Them Hear is a foundation based in Palo Alto, California, which provides hearing services to pediatric patients all around the world, including those who have inadequate or non-existent funding resources. They have trained leading doctors from 17 different countries and coached nearly 1,000 clinicians and school teachers around the world.
Shanti Ashram, Vizag is a non profit organization near my grandparents house in Vizag, provides free room and board for hearing impaired children. Established 55 years ago, Shanti Ashram, Vizag, provides free schooling for children in 1st through 10th grade.
How Can You Help?
With a donation of your choice myself or my Aunt in India will sketch a picture of your choice. You may upload your chosen picture (when you click donate). You will receive your sketch within 4-6 weeks. During certain times of the year sketching may take longer than 6 weeks to be delivered. I will let you know if this is the case.
